Has anyone bothered to tell Barack Obama that he won the Election? He’s actually President Obama now. You wouldn’t know it by the way hes acting these days. While we grapple with Iran , Healthcare and Climate Change, good ol Barack is in Denmark trying to sell Chicago for the 2016 Summer Olympics.
We know any president by his stripes and this one is no exception to that rule. Pres Obama loves to talk. He loves to be on a stage, tellin us all how its all going to play out. He loves to go on Letterman. He loves to go on the cable circut (Fox not withstanding) . Hell, he will even be known to throw a beer summit once in a while. His motto should be : Have telepromptor, will travel.
Question many of are starting to wonder is, does he actually like being president? As in doing the real job of completing the tasks at hand??? - Not just reading them on his screen.
He makes a big fuss about closing Gitmo to thunderous applause – but forgot to tell us what hes going to do with the detainees . He tells that Chicken Little told him personally the sky was falling, so lets have another 787billion surplus. He then does nothing with most of it as we watch the sky not fall.
Many give him credit for sticking Hillary Clinton in a glamorous but powerless box. However, poor Obama now has to contend with an invigorated Bubba, who has managed to do more actual work in North Korea than Obama has done in his entire foreign policy . Barack forgot that you actually have to get things done as president. Its not simply the ability to read correctly from a teleprompter.
Campaigner in Chief boldly indicates how vital Afganistan is ….. until Commander in Chief finds out how hard it is to win a war. Campaigner in Chief wants to talk to unruley dictators……….. until Commander in Chief finds out dictators hate American Presidents. Even the annointed ones . Dictators care about mocking them and getting concessions.
