If a person had invested in real estate before the Great Depression they would have still made money in the long term. That is what people need to understand. Flips are not a good idea now but the poor market is not a reason to avoid real estate investment. If you are buying to live in the property or for a ten year investment you will probably be okay. That is my opinion anyhow. Of course I am not in Florida or California and the situation may be slightly different in those markets. Either way, thank you for the information.
